Nationwide Arena (200 W Nationwide Blvd, Columbus, OH 43215) sits in the heart of the Arena District, and the surrounding streets see heavy pedestrian and vehicle congestion during Columbus Blue Jackets games and major concerts. Party buses drop off passengers along the W Nationwide Blvd frontage near the main entrance, then reposition to the surface lots and street-level staging areas along Neil Avenue and near McFerson Commons while the group is inside. The Arena District Parking Garages off Nationwide Blvd and Neil Ave serve event attendees, but oversized vehicles are directed to surface lots in the surrounding area.

Because drop-off and parking assignments can shift by event, confirm current access details on the Nationwide Arena getting-here page before your visit or call the arena at (614) 246-2000.

Greater Columbus Convention Center (400 N High St, Columbus, OH 43215) is one of the largest convention centers in the Midwest, and it hosts everything from the Arnold Sports Festival in early March to major trade shows and consumer expos year-round. Party buses drop off passengers along the N High Street curb at the main entrance canopy — the same frontage that connects directly to the Hilton Columbus Downtown. For a GPS-ready convention-center arrival, the North Facility Loading Dock is at 3 Convention Center Way, the Battelle Grand Loading Dock is at 500 N 3rd St, and the North Surface Lot is at 50 E Goodale St. Your bus gets a precise loading or staging address instead of circling the N High Street frontage while your group walks in.

After drop-off, the bus repositions to nearby surface lots or the garage structures along N High Street and Goodale Street while your group is inside. The Short North's parking structures a few blocks north are also common staging options for oversized vehicles. Check the GCCC directions and parking page for current access details before your event, since large conventions like the Arnold Sports Festival bring significant additional traffic to the N High Street corridor.

Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds (717 E 17th Ave, Columbus, OH 43211) is one of the easiest Columbus venues for party bus groups, because the sprawling grounds include large surface parking lots covering more than 12,000 vehicle spaces. The main approach is via E 17th Avenue off I-71. Party buses drop off passengers near the main entrance or the specific venue entrance for your event, then park in the outer surface lots while the group is inside.

During the Ohio State Fair — which runs approximately late July through early August (2026 dates: July 29–August 9) — a designated Bus and RV parking area is set up in the outer lots. Standard Expo Center parking is $7 for one-time entry, with special-event rates set separately, so your bus keeps the parking cost clear before the trip starts. Confirm your specific lot assignment on the Ohio Expo Center directions and parking page or call the venue directly at (614) 644-3247 before your visit, since the fair and major events bring additional traffic management to the E 17th Ave entrance corridors.

Celeste Center is a 7,000-seat indoor arena located within the Ohio Expo Center grounds, hosting concerts, sporting events, and large indoor gatherings throughout the year. Because Celeste Center sits on the Expo Center grounds, party bus access works exactly the same way as the broader fairgrounds — your bus enters via E 17th Avenue, drops your group at the Celeste Center main entrance, then parks in the large surrounding surface lots while you're inside. Those surface lots have no height or size restrictions for party buses, which makes the whole arrival and departure process straightforward.

After the show, your group meets the bus at a pre-arranged spot in the lot rather than fighting through the exit crowds on foot. Use the online quote tool or call 614-407-5677 to find party buses available for your Celeste Center date!

Lower.com Field (96 Columbus Group Way, Columbus, OH 43215) is the home of Columbus Group MLS and opened in 2021 in the Franklinton neighborhood, just west of downtown along the Scioto River. Party buses drop off passengers along Columbus Group Way near the stadium's main entrance, then reposition to the Franklinton surface lots in the surrounding neighborhood or the downtown Columbus parking structures accessible via the W Broad Street corridor. Lower.com Field does not have its own on-site bus parking lot, and the Franklinton neighborhood streets — including W Broad St, Souder Ave, and Nationwide Blvd — see significant congestion on match days.

The matchday cutoff is important: Columbus Group Way closes to vehicles four hours before the match, and traffic approaching the stadium on Nationwide Boulevard becomes mostly pedestrian-only from Hanover Street. Your bus gets the group to the curb before those streets tighten, then returns to the agreed pickup point after the match. A party bus handles that congestion for you: one vehicle, one coordinated drop-off, and a pre-arranged pickup point after the final whistle instead of a postgame scramble for rideshares.

Check the Columbus Group transportation and parking page for current access details before your match.

Ohio Stadium (411 Woody Hayes Dr, Columbus, OH 43210) — known as The Horseshoe — holds 102,780 fans and is one of the largest stadiums in the entire country. Home game Saturdays are the single highest-demand days in the Columbus party bus market, and the traffic and parking situation around campus reflects it. Party buses drop off passengers along Woody Hayes Drive near the stadium, then move to designated bus parking lots on the OSU campus — historically including Lot 91 off Kenny Road and other oversized-vehicle areas coordinated through OSU Parking Services.

Here is what matters most: advance bus parking permits are required for Ohio State game days, and day-of parking is not guaranteed. Lots open approximately four to five hours before kickoff, and Woody Hayes Drive, Olentangy River Road, and surrounding campus streets see major closures and heavy congestion as game time approaches. Confirm current bus parking assignments and permit requirements on the OSU event parking page before your game day, and book your party bus as early as possible — six months or more for marquee games, especially The Game against Michigan, which is the toughest date of the year to find a bus in Columbus.

For most Columbus trips, booking three to six months out gives you the best combination of vehicle selection and pricing. Stretch that to six months or more for the dates that fill the Columbus market fastest. Ohio State Buckeyes home football Saturdays are the highest-demand days of the year — and The Game against Michigan is in a category of its own.

Prom season across Dublin, Westerville, Hilliard, New Albany, Pickerington, and Upper Arlington school districts runs April through May and books out early across the entire metro. The Arnold Sports Festival at Greater Columbus Convention Center in early March, the Ohio State Fair in late July and early August, and New Year's Eve in the Short North and Arena District all drive significant demand. Bachelorette season peaks May through September.

Waiting until the last minute means higher prices and fewer buses to choose from — it is strongly, strongly advised to book as soon as your date is set. Call 614-407-5677 right now to lock in your date!
